Ashly Protea Equipped Media Amplifier (PEMA)

"The World’s First Powered Processor". PEMA (Protea Equipped Media Amplifier) is the new definition for value engineered zoned sound systems. Each model includes a full suite of the latest generation of Ashly’s world renowned Protea Digital Signal Processing, an 8x8 matrix mixer and a four or eight channel amplifier.
Ashly’s PEMA™ has the feature set that lets Systems Integrators replace a rack of amplifiers and signal processing equipment with a single two-rack space unit. The combination of a 4 or 8-channel amplifier and 8-in x 8-out sophisticated matrix mixing and signal processing brings a new level of technology and innovation to installations. Systems designers can select either 125W or 250W output units that are a perfect fit for projects based on ceiling height, loudspeaker sensitivity and ceiling speaker density.

TRA Series Amplifiers

Ashly's TRA-Series expands on the SRA's concept of "the right amp for the job." As with the SRA-Series, these 2RU amplifiers utilize our stateof the art technology and advanced engineering to produce highly efficient amplifiers that are convection cooled, so there's little maintenance after the installation and no annoying fan noise. The main difference between SRA and TRA is that the TRA-Series amplifiers move level controls to the back, give you expanded metering, and provide low impedance and transformer coupled 70V and 100V outputs simultaneously (output transformers are internally mounted).

TRA-Series amplifiers incorporate a switch-mode-power supply and Class-D amplifier circuitry, providing an extremely power-efficient solution. The TRA-Series amplifiers include four models available in two- and four-channel configurations, with power ratings of 75W and 150W per channel @ 4 ohms, 70V and 100V.

Ashly 3.6sp and 4.8sp

Ashly has introduced two new speaker processors for live sound and fixed installation applications to its line of Protea DSP products. The Protea 4.8SP four-input/eight-output and Protea 3.6SP three-input/six-output 1RU digital signal processors offer an extremely intuitive user interface, plus PC control software, and comprehensive DSP, including crossover, EQ, delay and limiter functions. Ashly's Protea Software Suite is provided for remote PC control via USB (one is located on the front panel and another on the rear, and a sixfoot
cable is provided) or RS-232 port. The software provides a very intuitive visual representation of the audio routing and control process as well as greater preset capacity. Both units store up to thirty presets, which are snapshots of all current settings. Existing .pcc files from previous Ashly units such as the Protea 4.24C may be loaded into the new units.

Introducing Ashly's two-channel NE amplifiers for the performance installation and constant voltage markets, the ne800, ne1600 and the ne2400 add a new level of power and control from the simplest to most advanced audio system applications. The ne800 provides 400W, ne1600 800W and ne2400 1200W per channel at four ohms. Constant voltage models are available for 25V, 70V and 100Vsystems.

Three new Ashly 2-channel NE amplifiers have been engineered to meet specifications of performance installation and constant voltage markets, adding to the lineup of the ne8250 (8-channel), ne4250 (4-channel) already shipping. The ne800, ne1600 and ne2400 add a new level of power and control for the simplest to the most advanced audio system applications, providing 400, 800 and 1200 W per channel respectively at 4Ω.

Network Enabled (NE) amplifiers offer ease of use, full setup, control and monitoring using standard 10/100 Ethernet protocol and Protea NE software. No special outboard control units are needed. NE Series amplifiers are offered as either standard, or "pe" (Protea Enabled) wi th Ashly' s world renowned Protea digital signal processing. Ashly Launches NE Series Multi-Channel Amplifiers

Ashly has launched the new NE-Series network enabled amplifiers. Targeted for performance installation and constant voltage markets, the NE Series add a new level of power and control from the simplest to most advanced audio system applications. NE Series amplifiers are high-efficiency, lightweight, class D amps with the latest in power and control technologies available in 70V 8, 4, and 2 channel models. All can be controlled and monitored using the built-in standard Ethernet protocol with remote access to many features including: input attenuation, channel mute, channel polarity, input level, output voltage, output current, clipping, temperature, and power on/off. Euroblock I/O is standard. The NE8250 and NE4250 are eight and four channel models respectively featuring 250W per channel. The
NE800, NE1600 and NE2400 are two channel models delivering 400W, 800W and 1200W per channel respectively. Other input options are 4-channel mic pre, AES/EBU or CobraNet. "PE" models include DSP input modules which feature 32-bit Sharc technology with an extensive library of signal processing. The NE24.24M matrix mixer
with assignable routing allows any input to drive any or all amplifier outputs wtih presets for global parameters.

Ashly CobraNet Card

The PNE-C2 CobraNet Option Card for PE-Series amplifiers, accepts both analog inputs and Cobranet digital audio at either 48 kHz or 96 kHz sample rates and provides two analog output signals from the amplifier as well as an auxiliary analog output for daisy-chaining multiple amplifiers. The PNE-C2 can replace any PE-Series amplifier’s standard input module when CobraNet is a requirement of the system. The module is easily replaced in the field, or factory installed when ordered.

Ashly Audio has announced the PE-Series (Protea Enabled) high-power, high-efficiency, lightweight amplifiers which incorporate the latest power and control technologies. Models are available ranging in power from 400 watts to 1900 watts per channel at 4 ohms (20Hz-20kHz, 0.05% THD), all capable of driving 2, 4 or 8 ohm loads.
